Description of Project:

As part of the U.S. Government and USAID-funded Women’s Global Development and Prosperity (W-GDP) Initiative, NORC led a follow-on data collection for an impact evaluation of the “Tenure and Global Climate Change” (TGCC) activity in Zambia. Palm Associates provided fieldwork logistics and local quantitative and qualitative data collection support in selected four chiefdoms in Chipata district. The study was a follow-on to the previous baseline and endline, which were conducted in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:

The study involved conducting 3,100 quantitative household interviews, 1,245 backcheck interviews, 64 group discussions (GDs), and 16 group key-informant interviews (GKIIs) in 249 villages. Other responsibilities included: i) submitting weekly progress reports, and ii) responding to any data-related and procedural issues raised by the client arising from high-frequency checks. Field work progressed only if all outstanding issues and questions were resolved.
